Handmade Mahogany Wood Swing - Engraveable
Each handmade swing measures 24” long, 7.5“ wide and is 1.5” thick. Mahogany is a dense hardwood often used for furniture making, yachts and boat making, flooring, doors, musical instruments, and many more things where durability, longevity and appearance are all critical. This is a product that will last you and your family for years to come.
INCLUDED: 11 feet of ¾” Pro-Manila rope is included to hang your swing. Pro-Manila rope’s synthetic fibers make it impervious to rot, mildew, mold, UV light, and water. Two rope clamps and two 4” clips that are rated to 770lbs are also included along with tape to help you prevent the rope from fraying if you need to cut excess after installation.
FINISH: Each swing has 6 coats of a high-quality, high-gloss marine varnish. The product was developed by a Rhode Island company to enhance the depth and clarity of the wood grain. The wood has not been stained, this coating offers superior protection from the elements while truly bringing out the different colors and tones of each unique piece.
Please keep in mind that wood varies in color, figure, and texture, with no two boards looking exactly alike.
Swings come in high-gloss, if you would prefer a more muted Satin finish 2 ADDITIONAL coats of product can be applied to lower the sheen and add even more depth. Please select the “Satin Finish” option if this is your preference.
